Overview
Full-time Night Residential Child Care Worker to work within a 6 bedded residential children\'s home. 1 vacancy. 140 hours monthly with a 2 weekly shift pattern: Week 1, 50 hours (Mon Tue, Fri Sat, Sun); Week 2, 20 hours (Wed & Thu).

Responsibilities
* Support children aged 11 - 17 who are emotionally challenging and have complex needs, including issues such as vulnerability, missing from home, drugs, gangs, physical and verbal aggression, Child Criminal/Sexual Exploitation.
* Establish and maintain positive relationships with the young people to understand and challenge their patterns of behaviour.
* Create a culture and ethos within the home where the needs of the young people are paramount and support their growth and development.
* Collaborate with other professionals across multi-agencies and with parents to assess needs and ensure positive outcomes; maintain good verbal and written communication and ICT skills.
* Work proactively with the team to maintain a high standard of care and consistent approach; contribute to the ongoing care of young people within Willow Vue.
Requirements
* Full driving licence is preferred.
* Minimum 12 months experience of working with children, young people, and families.
* Service is committed to staff development; on-going personal development is provided to meet the needs of the young people.
* No sponsorship available for this role; not open to applicants requiring sponsorship.
* Cannot accept candidates who have previously applied for the role within the last 24 months.
Desirable
* Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent (desirable).
* Experience and training in safeguarding.
* Innovative and creative approaches to problem solving.
* Willingness to work as part of a team and deliver exceptional care; full training and induction provided.
