Your new role
As a Structural/Civil Engineer, you will be involved in the design, analysis, and delivery of a range of structural projects from concept through topletion. You will work closely with senior engineers, architects, and clients, contributing to innovative and practical design solutions.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing structural calculations, designs, and drawings for a variety of projects
2. Working with materials such as steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
3. Supporting project delivery from feasibility through to construction stage
4. Liaising with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
5. Ensuring designs meet current industry standards and regulations
6. Assisting with site inspections and technical reporting
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you should have:
7. A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
8. 2+ years’ experience in a similar role within a UK/Irish consultancy environment
9. Experience with structural design software ( Tekla, Tedds, Robot, or similar)
10. Strong knowledge of UK/Irish building regulations and design codes
11. Excellentmunication and problem-solving skills
12. A proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
13. Progress towards Chartership (ICE or IStructE) would be advantageous.
