KS2 Teacher – Long-Term Cover – Merstham
Location: Merstham and surrounding areas, Surrey
Pay: £150 – £230 per day (PAYE – no umbrella deductions)
Contract: Long-Term Cover, Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP / September 2025
A welcoming primary school in Merstham is looking for a committed KS2 Teacher to step into a long-term cover role. It’s a fantastic chance for an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher—or an enthusiastic ECT—to join a supportive school community and make a real impact on pupils’ learning.
The Role – KS2 Teacher
As a KS2 Teacher, you will:
* Take full responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class
* Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum
* Support pupils of all abilities to achieve progress
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Work closely with the SLT and year group team
* Contribute to staff meetings, planning, and wider school life
What We’re Looking For – KS2 Teacher
* A qualified KS2 Teacher with UK QTS (or equivalent)
* Experience teaching at Key Stage 2
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Someone who can adapt quickly, follow planning, and add value
* Enthusiasm, reliability, and a genuine love of teaching
