NHS 111 Non-Clinical Performance Manager
Location: Oldbury
Salary: £29,970 (Band 5)
* Evenings and night shifts: 30% enhancement (Weekdays 20:00-06:00)
Contract Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
As an NHS 111 Non-Clinical Performance Manager, you will provide proactive management, leadership, support, and coaching to call-taking staff to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety of the service at all times. You will ensure adherence to National Quality Requirements and organisational Key Performance Indicators through proactive and innovative management.
Typical daily responsibilities include:
* Supporting real-time management of health and clinical advisors in liaison with operational shift leads to ensure safe, effective, and efficient working.
* Providing real-time coaching and guidance to call-taking staff as needed.
* Interpreting and applying performance data to monitor individual and organisational performance, taking timely action on identified concerns.
* Managing complaints and compliments received during shifts.
* Managing your team of call-taking staff to deliver safe and efficient patient services.
* Contributing to shift management and contingency planning as required.
Qualifications and experience required:
* Previous leadership experience, ideally at a management level.
* Experience working in a busy service environment.
* Performance coaching experience preferred.
* IT skills including Word, Excel, email systems, and electronic media.
* Experience managing staff rotas and rostering systems.
* Ability to work unsociable hours.
