Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Bar & Events Supervisor to help oversee the operations of our members' bar and events. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. This role involves managing staff, ensuring excellent member and guest satisfaction whilst offering a high standard of service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in developing their fundamentals of event coordination and management.
Duties
* Meet with clients to understand requirements and objectives for events.
* Manage event budgets and produce P&L for each event; assess the overall success of the events and prepare reports for clients and management.
* Establish and maintain detailed event timelines and BEOs to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
* Create event proposals that align with client needs and event goals.
* Maintain ongoing, clear communication with members and clients advising them of progress and challenges.
* Handle administrative duties such as providing accurate and timely information for invoicing and filing of paperwork.
* Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to health and safety regulations.
* Organise and manage member and private events appropriately to ensure member and guest satisfaction.
* Train, mentor, and manage bar staff to deliver exceptional member and guest experiences.
* Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to minimise waste.
* Collaborate with Kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery within the clubhouse.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in line with company standards.
Skills

* Proven experience in a bar management role or similar position within the hospitality industry.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with exceptional attention to detail.
* Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient operation during peak hours.
* Outstanding communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
