Position: Supervising Social Worker
Salary: Up to £35,500 per annum, based on experience

Your Role
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will:
* Support foster carers and their families to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and young people in foster care.
* Monitor the suitability and competence of foster carers, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
* Guide carers in understanding their roles and responsibilities, including policies and procedures.
* Provide regular supervision to allocated foster carers in line with Fosterplus' Operational Standards.
* Collaborate with a team to identify needs within foster families, such as respite and activities.
* Ensure compliance with all key documentation for each child and foster carer.
* Attend meetings and provide reports for commissioning teams regarding individual care packages.
* Encourage participation of children and young people in agency development and community resources.
* Participate in an 'out of hours' support service on a rota basis.
* Conduct occasional initial home visits and Form F Assessments.
What You Need
* A Social Work qualification.
* Professional registration with SSSC or equivalent.
* Proven ability to produce high-quality reports.
* Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures.
* Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
* Confidence in transporting children and young people in challenging situations.
* Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
