Job Description
Duties for the Accounts Payable clerk:
* Manage company's accounts payable
* Process invoices and payments in a timely manner
* Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information
* Prepare and present reports detailing accounts payable status
* Maintain vendor files and relationships
* Ensure accurate and effective document control
* Work effectively within the Accounting & Finance department
* Comply with company policies and procedures in all activities
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
* A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
* Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
