About the Role:
Prospero Teaching is seeking an enthusiastic educator to teach Sociology and Psychology at a secondary school in the Liverpool area. As one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, we are looking for a reliable, for somebody with a speciality in Sociology or Psychology to inspire and nurture the next generation of students. A successful applicant will have a teaching qualification with QTS.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lesson delivery:Plan and teach engaging lessons in both sociology and psychology.
2. Student support:Help students develop their academic skills and understanding.
3. Assessment:Monitor student progress, assess their work, and report on their performance.
4. Adjust: Adapt teaching techniques to individuals to help them grasp complex topics
Requirements:
5. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Sociology or Psychology.
6. Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school.
7. Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided).
8. Right to Work in the UK.
9. Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
10. Ability to provide two professional references/cover the last 24 months worked
