Job Description:
Our client, a leading manufacturer within their respective industry sector, require an Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer. This is a permanent position working on days 8am-4pm. The company in question are going from strength to strength having invested heavily in larger premises and equipment and are part of a larger group who have a strong financial base.
Details:
The role is on days, working from 8am-4pm Monday to Friday. There is also a callout rota which is worked 1 week in 3 but is only for essential maintenance issues/breakdowns. Callout time is from Monday evening to Saturday morning. So far this year, there have been 3 callouts in total. If called out, you will be paid a minimum of 4 hours at overtime rate (Time x 1.5).
Requirements:
1. Fully Time Served Electrician, ideally with 18th Edition.
2. Carry out 3 phase work & work with Invertors and AC/DC Motors.
3. Strong manufacturing background.
4. PLC fault finding experience (Siemens and Mitsubishi on site).
5. Responsible for maintaining engineering stores & parts & work to continual improvement of the PM system.
6. Flexible, proactive, able to manage own workloads and work closely with the Mechanical & Engineers on site & also the Production Managers.
There is also a company pension scheme eligible to join after 3 months. The provider will match up to 4% of employee contributions. The company also operates a bonus scheme based on profitability.
