What you will do
* Support the lineside enablement teams working closely with the operational team to gain experience of processes and procedures to support in wing manufacture.
* Support the ISS business by attending high level reviews and producing progress reports, key performance indicators and delivery measures, and look for continuous improvements.
* Provide support to the ISS management team leaders.
* Take on improvement projects involving end-to-end project management and demonstrate benefits.
* Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvements and development.
* Develop and maintain a robust risk and opportunity tracker/process.
* Support build rate increases by ensuring headcount, asset capability, and future-proofing; digitally enhance processes and help create a 10-year vision for the department.
* Spend a day in the life of senior leaders in the business.
Requirements
Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
* Studying towards a relevant Business or related degree.
* Have the drive to support the operational business in daily activities and to identify opportunities and potential risks.
* Confident to work in a demanding operational environment.
* Good communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.
* Knowledge of Google tools.
* Motivated and enthusiastic, always looking for opportunities.
* Organized and proactive.
Security clearance
You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.

Located in North Wales, Airbus in Broughton is responsible for assembling the wings for our entire family of commercial aircraft, including the A320 Family, A330 Family, and the A350 XWB. The wings are among the most technically complex parts of an aircraft, defining its overall aerodynamic performance and playing a critical role in securing eco-efficient solutions.
This internship offers a unique insight into a potential career path within Airbus. The programme is designed to give you direct experience in enabling the manufacturing process and planning for future production rate increases. You will also gain valuable project skills, industry knowledge, and operational exposure.
