Ysgol Greenhill School is an 11 to 19 comprehensive school serving the historic town of Tenby and surrounding areas. Based in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the school provides a caring, inclusive environment with strong values and ethos.
Ysgol Greenhill seeks to appoint an inspiring, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join the Area of Learning Experience for Languages, Literacy and Communication. The successful candidate will deliver English across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, and motivate pupils to achieve their potential. The ideal candidate will be an engaging classroom practitioner whose learners gain confidence and a desire for success.

Applicants should have excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching, be committed to achieving excellence, and be ready to support the school’s vision. This is an exciting time to join the AoLE to contribute to the ongoing development of the Curriculum for Wales (2022). The successful candidate will join a well-resourced department with an experienced and high-achieving team and will play an active role in raising the profile of Languages, Literacy and Communication across the school.
Contract and location details: In the first instance the appointment is fixed-term maternity cover until August 2026. 0.8 FTE / 26 hours per week.
