We have an exciting opportunity for multiple Learning Support Assistants to join the team on an annualised hours basis. In return, you will receive a salary of £23,556 - £23,764 pro rata, per annum, depending on qualifications.

About The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide support across college to students with identified learning needs.
Responsibilities as Our Learning Support Assistant Will Include
Supporting the Student
* Identify support strategies using existing documentation, student profiles, and in consultation with tutors.
* Assist students in learning effectively both in groups and individually by clarifying instructions and explaining concepts.
Supporting the Tutor
* Contribute to maintaining student progress records and provide feedback to tutors regarding progress, achievement, attitude, and behaviour.
* Assist with routine tests, invigilate exams, and act as reader/scribe as appropriate.
Supporting the Curriculum
* Support learning activities, develop students' competence and independence, including ICT skills.
* Prepare and utilise equipment and resources.
Supporting the College
* Adhere to policies on child protection, health and safety, confidentiality, and data protection, reporting concerns as necessary.
* Support diversity and ensure equal access to learning opportunities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* GCSEs (Grade C or above) in Maths, English, and ICT.
* Ability to relate well to students with diverse needs.
* Willingness to undertake relevant support qualifications.
* Ability to build professional, supportive relationships with students and staff.
* Passion for supporting young people's learning and integration.
