WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Lead and manage drivers. Provide day-to-day leadership, briefings, and support for DHL, agency, and subcontractor drivers, ensuring performance, compliance, and engagement.
* Operational delivery. Oversee safe, legal, and efficient transport operations, adjusting plans as needed and resolving issues in real time to meet service levels.
* Compliance & fleet standards. Ensure driver and fleet compliance, including pre-shift checks, defect reporting, and legal standards in line with DHL Asset Management protocols.
* People & performance management. Manage absence, conduct 1-2-1s, support recruitment, and drive performance through training, development, and disciplinary processes.
* Continuous improvement & cost control. Use TMS effectively, monitor cost trends (e.g. fuel, accidents), support projects, and promote a culture of improvement and best practice sharing.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
* Proven background in transport or logistics operations
* Experience managing teams or leading people
* Confident using computer systems and transport management tools
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
