Payroll Administrator - Helston - £Negotiable DOE
Trial Balance Consulting is pleased to be re-engaged by a reputable construction company in Helston. They are urgently seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their finance team and provide efficient weekly and monthly payroll services to over 350 staff. This is a permanent, full-time role based at the company's headquarters in Helston.
The position reports to an experienced payroll supervisor and involves working within a friendly finance team. Key responsibilities include:
1. Administration of onsite time management and clocking systems
2. Checking and inputting employee timesheets
3. Serving as an initial contact for payroll queries from employees
4. Compiling payroll details weekly and monthly using MS Excel and Sage Payroll
5. Authorizing holiday forms and recording them appropriately
6. Covering for the payroll supervisor during absences
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and organized administrator with strong numerical and IT skills, especially in MS Excel. Candidates should have over 18 months of experience in a payroll role, whether in a commercial or bureau setting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as the role involves interacting with employees at all levels and external stakeholders.
