The Public Area
Cleaner shall maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness and deliver
excellent guest service in line with housekeeping standards. The Public Area

Role Specification:
* Regular cleaning of lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other public
areas.
* Disinfecting high-touch surfaces and equipment.
* Emptying trash bins, replacing liners, and ensuring proper disposal of
waste.
* Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and maintaining the cleanliness of floors.
* Replenishing restroom supplies, including toilet paper, soap, and hand
towels.
* Notifying management of any maintenance issues or
safety hazards.
Person Specification:
Essential
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of
cleanliness.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and
holidays.
* Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and handle cleaning
equipment.
Desirable
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
but not required.
Shift Patterns:
* 40 hours per week
* 5 days out of 7 per week
* Typical shift pattern: 7am – 3.30pm
* Note: Full
flexibility is key as you will be expected to work as and when necessary
to meet the needs of the team and the business
