Overview
Are you passionate about supporting children and families to live healthier, happier lives? Do you enjoy working closely with parents, GPs, and other healthcare professionals to make a real difference in your community? We’d love to hear from you!
At Sutton Health and Care, we’re on a mission to deliver seamless, high-quality care right at the heart of the community. We’re looking for a dedicated Children’s Community Dietitian to join our friendly team at Green Wrythe Clinic.
Responsibilities
* Provide dietetic assessment, advice and monitoring for infants with suspected cow’s milk allergy and general paediatrics.
* Support GPs and community teams with expert dietetic advice and ensure cost-effective prescribing of hypoallergenic milk formulae and supplements.
* Guide and support families, carers and healthcare professionals across both community and acute settings.
* Run GP audits and deliver training to GPs, pharmacists, health visitors and other healthcare professionals.
What makes this role special
* Be part of a small, supportive team of 3 dietitians.
* Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Physiotherapists in the same building.
* All clinics are run from Green Wrythe Clinic (no extensive travelling around Sutton).
* Free on-site parking and a short walk from St Helier Hospital.
* Flexible hours (e.g., 8 to 4, 9 to 5, or a pattern that works for you and the service).
* Training opportunities at Epsom and St Helier to keep your skills sharp.
Autonomy and Support
This role offers you the autonomy to manage your own caseload, backed by a close-knit team. You’ll be part of an integrated care model that puts patients at the centre. We’ll support you with:
* Ongoing training and CPD opportunities (including ARFID).
* A collaborative, friendly MDT environment.
* NHS benefits, discounts and wellbeing support.
About you
* HCPC-registered with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
* Experience in paediatric nutrition (bonus points if you’ve worked with infants and families in a community setting).
* Excellent communication skills and a person-centred approach.
* Confident working independently but enjoys being part of a team.
