Job Description:
Mane Energy is currently collaborating with a leading, multi-disciplined engineering company that is seeking to expand their team of engineers for various projects based out of their Scotland offices. They are in need of multiple Lead Electrical Engineers to work on different Brownfield projects at the FEED stage, including flow line, EPC, and drilling projects, among others.

Key Duties:
1. Manage, execute, and support the electrical discipline to deliver engineering and design of technical projects.
2. Provide engineering accountability in final signature and approval of deliverables.
3. Offer leadership, continual development, mentorship, and guidance to all team members.
4. Responsible for resource management and progress reporting in deliverables and plan attainment.
5. Anticipate, manage, and resolve issues as the focal point of contact for the project discipline delivery.
6. Complete competence reviews and ensure that everyone within the team has a valid competence assessment.
7. Identify and manage discipline-specific software and tools, ensuring they are controlled and maintained.
8. Collaborate with the Head of Department to develop training and learning opportunities for the discipline.
9. Execute all engineering in compliance with industry legislation, codes, and standards, as well as the company’s processes and procedures.
10. Actively support the Business Development team with the sales strategy and marketing.
11. Contribute technically and commercially in Invitations to Tender to secure work and contracts.
12. Work collaboratively across all business units to deliver in the best interests of the group.
13. Act as Principal Engineer when required.
14. Work primarily at the Company's offices on a hybrid basis, with occasional requirements to work at client offices and/or remote locations.
15. Support technical and commercial bids and other business development activities.
16. Ensure discipline KPIs relating to performance are achieved.
Experience/Qualifications:
Engineering degree relevant to discipline role or relevant engineering experience.
Ideally chartered or actively working towards chartered status.
Experienced line manager for engineers assigned within contracts for discipline deliverables.
Accountabilities for the engineering competence of all team members in line with the company’s competence and assurance procedures.
Routinely managed discipline KPI’s.
Determined and set and agreed each financial year with the Head of Department.
Responsible for the delivery of all discipline engineering and design ensuring designs are suitable and robust and comply with the company’s HSEQ processes and procedures.
Responsible for leadership, continual development, mentorship, and guidance to all team members.
Proven responsibility for discipline resource management.
Support and lead technical and commercial bids and other business development content.
Extensive experience and knowledge of industrial hazardous areas and non-hazardous areas electrical distribution and utility systems, and the management of Change processes in brownfield modifications and new build environments.
Demonstrable knowledge of industry-specific systems and their design and operational requirements.
