The Role
Are you a passionate and creative teacher looking to make a meaningful impact on young learners? Teaching Personnel is currently seeking motivated and adaptable educators to join primary schools across Selby and York.
As a teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum, using innovative strategies and adaptive resources to inspire learning.
* Foster a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment where children can thrive.
* Communicate effectively with pupils, colleagues, and parents to ensure strong learning outcomes.
* Track and report on student progress, helping to shape their transition to secondary education.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
* Strong knowledge of KS2 curriculum guidance, particularly in SATs preparation.
* Experience working within school policies on safeguarding, health & safety, and behavior management.
* An understanding of how National Curriculum test data supports school development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that challenge and engage all pupils.
* Maintain high expectations for behavior and classroom management to support effective teaching.
* Use assessment data to inform lesson planning and drive pupil progress.
* Create a nurturing learning environment, setting ambitious yet achievable goals for students.
* Collaborate with Teaching Assistants to provide tailored support for pupils with additional needs.
* Monitor individual progress, particularly in SATs preparation, ensuring students meet or exceed expectations.
* Establish strong relationships with parents/guardians, keeping them informed about student progress.
* Take ownership of your own professional development, identifying CPD opportunities as needed.
Working Hours:
* Additional hours may be required for staff meetings, inspections, and parent consultations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
