We are looking to recruit a Legal Cashier for a permanent opportunity with a highly regarded firm based in Chester
Duties will include.
* Checking payment and receipt requisitions and then allocating Client Bank account transactions to our practice management system and setting up on the bank for payment.
* Purchase Ledger processing to include the Input, coding, scanning, and processing of invoices, (and disbursements).
* Preparation of weekly payment runs and dealing with suppliers as appropriate.
* Processing of expenses and company credit card transactions
* Handling searches including HMLR / HMCTS / Companies house etc.
* Resolving ledger queries and sundry transaction requests.
* Preparation of daily and monthly bank reconciliations.

* Positive self-starter who can work on own initiative.
* Professional and courteous approach.
* Ordered, process led approach.
* Numerate with a keen attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills in order to deal with both internal and external relationships.
* Proficient IT / Excel skills
* Previous Legal Cashier experience would be a distinct advantage.
