As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Quality Inspector.
Key Responsibilities:
10. Reporting major quality issues to Senior Quality team
11. Working with inspection team to ensure inspection consistency.
12. To provide inspection services (identified by the Production and Quality Managers)
13. Support the planning of inspection activities based on agreed schedules with Materials Management and Production
14. Assist in the creation of new procedures, techniques, tools etc
15. Work to inspection schedules under general supervision
16. Taking part in the First Article Inspection (FAI) process to ensure all products and updates are inspected
17. Assist in training of quality and production team members
18. Assist in development of statistical methods to reduce inspection
19. Provides support to production solving basic problems
20. Identifying non-conforming parts or products and escalating significant issues to Senior Quality team
21. Notifying design of any errors/inconsistency in inspection requirements
22. Raising non-conforming product reports
23. Liaising with suppliers as appropriate
24. Conduct Material Review Board activities (MRB)
Key Skills/ Experiences:
25. Inspection experience gained in a manufacturing environment [essential]
26. Able to interpret Engineering drawings
27. Familiarity with quality disciplines including 8D reporting, 5 Whys and the completion of corrective action reports [essential]
28. Good written and oral communication skills [essential
