As a 3.5T Delivery Driver based in Aberystwyth youll be responsible for:
* Driving a 3.5T Automatic van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to our customer.
* The number of deliveries will vary day to day.
* Carrying out vehicle checks.
* Loading and unloading deliveries, which involves manual handling of heavy items such as boilers, radiators toilets and sinks.
* Assisting in the warehouse when back from deliveries early with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying.
* Assisting on the trade counter when deliveries are quiet.
This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:30am - 4:30pm and one in three Saturdays, 8:00 - 12:00, paid as overtime.
And heres what wed like you to have:
* Full UK Manual Driving Licence
* Previous multidrop driving is preferred
* Excellent communication skills
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with PDA devices
* To be a team player who is happy to assist in the warehouse to ensure the smooth running of the branch
* Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic
