We are seeking a dependable and energetic Events Porter to assist with the setup and support of our festive Christmas events held on Fridays and Saturdays. This seasonal role involves preparing event spaces, handling equipment, and ensuring a smooth and magical experience for our guests during the holiday season.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up Christmas event spaces according to specified layouts and decorations.
* Assist with the delivery, assembly, and arrangement of furniture, décor and equipment.
* Support the smooth running of events by assisting with any on-site needs during setup and breakdown.
* Help maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout event areas.
* Work closely with the events and operations teams to ensure all event requirements are met.
* Report any equipment issues or damage to supervisors immediately.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in event setup, hospitality, or a similar physical role is an advantage.
* Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
* Availability to work Friday and Saturday evenings during the Christmas season.
* Positive attitude and enthusiasm for creating a festive atmosphere.
Working Conditions:
* Seasonal role covering weekends (Friday and Saturday).
* Physically demanding work involving manual handling.
