Technical Sales Manager – Ventilation Products
Overview: The Technical Sales Manager – Ventilation Products is a field sales role selling a high quality manufactured range of ventilation products and systems. The role focuses on social housing, local authorities and new-build projects such as office blocks, apartment blocks, hotels, student accommodation, and related commercial projects. The majority of time will be spent generating specifications via building services consultants, M&E consultants, specifiers and housing developers, with the remainder selling into M&E contractors, main contractors, sub-contractors, developers and builders.
* Field sales position selling high quality ventilation products and systems
* Develop and generate specifications for projects typically around 50k to 500k
* Build new business relationships and maximize opportunities from neglected accounts
* Target social housing, local authorities and new-build projects
* Deal with projects such as office blocks, apartment blocks, hotels, student accommodation
Responsibilities
* Generate specifications via consultants, specifiers and housing developers
* Sell into M&E contractors, main contractors, sub-contractors, developers and builders
* Develop relationships with consultants and housing developers
* Manage projects typically around 50k - 500k
Ideal applicant / Qualifications
* Technical background in engineering or related technical field, with a desire to move into field sales
* Strong technical knowledge and capabilities, with HVAC product experience (ventilation products, ventilation systems, ducting units, air handling units, air conditioning, extract fans, heat recovery units)
* Experience with M&E consultants, social housing specifiers, main contractors and sub-contractors is advantageous
* Team player, highly organized
