The college is looking to take on a full time English Lecturer on a long term temporary basis. The successful English Lecturer will be delivering GCSE English resit sessions to post-16 learners, supporting students with varying abilities and ensuring strong progress and engagement within the classroom.
The successful English Lecturer will have:
• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)
• Experience delivering GCSE English
• Experience working within an FE or post-16 setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• The ability to support learners of mixed ability
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
