As a Controls Customer Support Engineer, you will be responsible for facilitating transactions, producing, assembling, and delivering replacement/repair parts and equipment as part of a Services agreement or order. This includes activities such as processing transactions, managing processes, material management, site operations, or warehouse logistics & shipping, sometimes in a shop structure. It involves craft & non-craft labor as well as managerial roles responsible solely for these activities. You will be involved in discussions with other functions and teams about process improvements, procedures, and ways of working.
Responsibilities include:
* Facilitating order management - processing order intake and inputting into internal systems.
* Connecting to customer portals and systems, supporting forecasting, billing, and collection activities.
* Serving as the key contact for customer inquiries and complaint resolution.
* Working with operations to understand and communicate commitments and status to customers.
* Communicating across the organization and presenting to senior leaders on technical interconnections and strategic contributions.
* Choosing appropriate project approaches, requiring technical know-how.
* Handling diverse clients in a region.
* Following frameworks to complete processes, with room for negotiation and client-specific conditions.
To be successful, you should have:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
* Experience in Services and Customer Order and Fulfillment.
