Taunton Hospital | Physiotherapy | Permanent Contract | Full Time
Up to £42,000.00 per annum, depending on experience
37.5 hours per week
As a Senior Physiotherapist at our hospital, you'll have a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council. You also have excellent clinical reasoning and rehabilitation skills, and you're committed to developing as a practitioner. You're a confident communicator, skilled at engaging with all kinds of people.
As part of the team, you will have clinical support available from your Regional clinical lead, along with Physiotherapists, with leadership from the management team on site. You will have a CPD budget to encourage your continued learning and striving for clinical excellence. The hospital is well-placed to support and mentor the successful candidate for this role, alongside our academy training programmes.
Responsibilities:
* See a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including pre and post-operative cases, playing a key role in helping our patients achieve, maintain, and recover to the level of health and wellbeing they aspire to.
* Previous ward experience is essential.
* Work within a multidisciplinary team including nurses, AHPS, and consultants to optimize patient health and recovery.
* Deliver high-quality, effective clinical care.
* Adhere to Nuffield Health values and beliefs, encouraging behaviour that is enterprising, passionate, independent, and caring.
* Deliver evidence-based, safe, effective, caring, well-led, and responsive clinical care.
* Monitor treatment standards continuously.
* Ensure compliance with all professional, clinical, and governance standards, participating in clinical audits and quality assurance processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
* BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
* Evidence of professional training and ongoing professional development.
* Confident communicator, effective with the public and healthcare professionals.
* Competent IT user with strong organizational skills.
* Ability to prioritize and manage a varied workload effectively.
