The Purpose of the role: The preferred candidate will assist the Food To Go Brand Development & Marketing Manager in various tasks related to planning and executing marketing campaigns and daily operations for a variety of own label and third-party brands. Building effective cross-functional relationships is a key aspect of this role, involving collaboration with marketing, sales, and store operations teams within the organization, as well as external contacts such as designers, marketing agencies, suppliers, and retailers. Working as Marketing Assistant (FTG) you will: Manage in-store digital screen content for FTG including third-party advertising, scheduling updates with design team and ensuring content is accurate & engaging Maintain product image library and point of sale templates, liaising with central marketing, sales and operations teams to ensure requirements are met Develop and maintain the sales tool kit for FTG brand roll-out to independent retailers Manage regular promotional, range and retail communications to independent retailers Social media planning, scheduling, asset sourcing & creation Develop point of sale for new FTG concepts and evolve through trial and launch Liaise with trading and suppliers to develop point of sale to support third-party brands Assist in the planning and delivery of key events to showcase FTG innovation and best practice Liaise with 3rd party agencies e.g. design, media and print, managing costs and timelines Maintain brand standards across all communications Track marketing spend and provide invoice breakdowns to finance Assist with consumer and market research collation and analysis Regular Henderson Group and competitor store visits Contribute to cross-functional projects, working closely with colleagues from across Henderson Group Skills for Success Joining us as Marketing Assistant (FTG) the minimum criteria youll need is: A minimum of 1 years experience in a marketing role Proficiency in IT, particularly with Microsoft Office applications Proven experience managing and collaborating with external agencies A full, valid UK or EU driving licence and access to your own vehicle The Attributes youll need include: Has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Demonstrates a proactive, positive approach and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Works effectively as part of a team and can build strong working relationships across all levels of the organisation It is Desirable if you have: A third-level qualification in Marketing, Design, Communications, or a related field Strong understanding of marketing principles, supported by practical experience Experience working within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector Proficiency in social media and digital marketing communication Competence in using design software such as Adobe Photoshop Experience in analysing market trends and consumer research data Demonstrated ability in project planning and coordination A genuine interest in food development and innovation Are we right for you? This is a full-time position working 36.5 hours per week. Working hours will be 8:45am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday and 8:45am-3:45pm Friday. Hybrid and flexible working arrangement available.
