Job Purpose and Impact
The Production manager will provide strategic operational oversight for all production and operating process for a single plant with moderate complexity. In this role, you will oversee safety, quality, operational effectiveness and financial performance.
Key Accountabilities
1. Oversee end‑to‑end operations across multiple production plants, processes, and shifts, ensuring full compliance with employee, safety, and environmental policies. Drive operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives, including standardisation of plant information and manufacturing systems, strengthened quality control, safety and production reliability excellence, and the implementation of maintenance and operator best practices.
2. Partners with environment, health and safety and food safety, quality and regulatory experts to identify the most effective approach for implementing and monitoring corporate safety policies and procedures.
3. Oversee production outcomes, quantity and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are within specifications.
4. Partner collaboratively with appropriate centers of excellence including, but not limited to engineering and plant management, to provide input into the development of plant capital investment strategies.
5. Accountable for the implementation of non base capital investments for a major production area or for multiple departments, processes and shifts.
6. Ensure ongoing review of key performance indicators with focus on continuous improvements in site operational targets.
7. Develops and oversees operational plans and monitors routine operations for all production processes for multiple departments, processes and shifts.
8. Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
10. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
11. Lean six sigma
12. Minimum of four years of related work experience
13. Other minimum qualifications may apply
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
14. Two years of supervisory experience
