P&L Recruitment are delighted to be working with our well-established client based in North Lanarkshire to recruit a highly experience Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance department. The successful candidate will be able to work autonomously on their own initiative to deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This is a varied and interesting role within a well-established finance team. This role is based in an office. There is scope to work either 8am - 4pm, 8.30am - 4.30pm or 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. The main duties are: Processing Sales on to the registers & then invoices on systems Bank Reconciliations together Processing of entries to the ledgers Nominal Reconciliations Petty Cash processing Credit card statement reconciliations and processing Process Sub Contractors Invoices Raising Sales Invoices Bank reconciliations Assisting with payroll team when required P 11d updating Healthcare Policy additions & deletions Ad hoc finance tasks The main requirements: Highly experienced accounts assistant Numerical and methodical Excellent IT skills including Sage and Excel First class communication skills Strong team player Committed with a high work ethic My client offers a highly competitive salary, plus bonus, benefits and career advancement for the successful candidate.
