We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Band 8A Psychologist to join our NHS client in Blackpool, Lancashire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide specialist psychological support to veterans with complex mental health needs
* Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
* Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and effective care
* Travel to community locations as required (own car essential)
* Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation
Qualifications & Experience
* HCPC registration (essential)
* Experience working with veterans or individuals with complex mental health presentations
* Strong assessment, formulation, and therapeutic skills
* Must have access to own vehicle for community-based work
* Previous experience in a Band 8A Psychology role
