Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Ayr for an Automotive Painter. The Automotive Painter will prepare and paint vehicles to meet quality standards, ensuring proper color matching and flawless application. Daily tasks include surface preparation, mixing paints, applying coatings, and performing touch-ups as necessary. The role also involves maintaining a clean and safe work environment, inspecting finished work for quality, and collaborating with team members to meet timelines and customer expectations.
Qualifications
* Auto Body Painting: Demonstrated expertise in surface preparation, color matching, and application of paint and coatings
* Attention to Detail: Ability to assess finished work for quality, ensuring a flawless and professional appearance
* Mechanical Knowledge: Familiarity with automotive painting tools, equipment, and safety practices
* Effective Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and discuss repair timelines with supervisors
* Additional Assets: Certification in automotive painting or refinishing, and previous experience in a similar role
* Problem-Solving Skills: Capability to identify and address issues arising during the painting process
* Time Management: Efficiently handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
