Service Care Solutions are recruiting a Senior Mental Health CAMHS Practitioner (CBT Therapist) to support Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. This is a Band 7 role offering hybrid working. The successful candidate will provide high-intensity psychological support to young people experiencing a range of mental health conditions.
Job Role: Band 7 Senior CAMHS Practitioner (CBT Therapist)
Pay Rate: £30 p/h ltd (£26.93 p/h PAYE) + £250 sign-up bonus
Location: Worcestershire / Hybrid Working
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00-17:00 (Flexible)
Contract: Permanent / Full Time
The post holder will be a key member of the CAMHS team, delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychological interventions to children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for children and adolescents to determine their mental health needs.
2. Develop and implement tailored CBT and DBT treatment plans, addressing a range of complex mental health issues.
3. Deliver effective, evidence-based interventions both in-person and remotely, ensuring continued engagement and therapeutic alliance.
4. Manage a caseload of clients, conducting regular reviews, risk assessments, and modifying treatment plans as necessary.
5. Provide clinical supervision and support to junior staff and trainees within the CAMHS team.
6. Contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, and multidisciplinary case discussions.
7. Maintain high-quality clinical records and participate in service evaluation.
Requirements:
8. Professional accreditation (e.g., BABCP or equivalent).
9. Experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting.
10. Substantial experience delivering CBT and/or DBT.
