Business Development Manager Hybrid – 1 day per week in the office Woking £40,000 basic Car Allowance Uncapped Commission (OTE £65k) Ready for a role that gives you ownership? If you are an experienced sales professional or Business Development Manager with a minimum of 2 years’ new business experience, and you are looking for a role where you own the full sales cycle, build real relationships, and close your own deals? Then this could be your next move. This is not an appointment setting role. This is a true new business position where you take control from first contact through to signed agreement. You will be trusted to run your own pipeline, meet clients face to face, and be rewarded properly for the revenue you generate. The company We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing, award-winning digital marketing agency that is investing heavily in its commercial team. Known for delivering high-quality, results-driven solutions, the agency is now looking to strengthen its new business function with a commercially minded, hungry Business Development Manager. They are looking for someone who enjoys the chase, thinks strategically, and knows how to convert opportunity into revenue. The role This is a full lifecycle new business role with autonomy, visibility, and progression. Initially, you will leverage outbound activity to open doors, but this quickly develops into a consultative sales role with self-generated meetings and long-term client relationships. Proactively identifying and winning new B2B clients High-volume outbound prospecting (calls, email, LinkedIn) to generate opportunities Conducting in-depth discovery to understand client goals and challenges Managing your own pipeline from initial contact to close Attending and leading face-to-face client meetings Presenting tailored digital marketing solutions confidently Working collaboratively with internal marketing and delivery teams Consistently achieving monthly and quarterly revenue targets The candidate This role is suited to someone who already knows sales and wants more control, more earning potential, and more impact. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a new business sales role Proven success in outbound / cold calling environments A hunter mentality with a strong closing instinct Confidence engaging with business owners and senior decision-makers The ability to work autonomously and manage your own pipeline A target-driven mindset with a genuine appetite for commission A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle Digital marketing experience is desirable but not essential What is on offer £40,000 basic salary depending on experience Uncapped commission with realistic OTE of £65,000 Car allowance and mileage paid Hybrid working with real autonomy Full ownership of deals and clear progression opportunities The chance to represent a respected, award-winning agency Annual incentives including fully expensed trips If you are an experienced sales professional looking for a BDM role, then this is a genuine opportunity to build something and be rewarded for it
