Job Introduction Landmarc Support Services are currently seeking to recruit a Training Area Operative to join our dedicated team supporting the Royal Engineers training operations .In this role you will play a key part in helping to maintain a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to train. Shifts run between: 08:00 - 16:30 from Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 13:00 Friday, with the additional possibility of core hours working when required. Main Responsibilities Be the lead person, responsible for Water Safety Equipment (WSE) including clothing, life jackets inspection, supervision, maintenance and record keeping Operate, maintain, clean and report faults on the Units Combat Support Boats (CSB's) and Inflatable Safety Boats. Support Visiting Unit training, employed as a Safety Boat Operator Assist with Boat related stores preparation and stocktaking. Carry out crane slinging operations when required. Assist with stores preparation and stocktaking Carry out crane slinging operations Perform estate maintenance (painting, pressure washing, strimming, grass cutting, and basic DIY) Carry out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) on portable electric devices. Be prepared to work at other LSS Sites, (Inc.Ranges) and attend trg courses which involves stays away from home, for the duration.
