**Job Overview**
We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Bar Person / Mixologist to join our Food & Beverage team at Courtyard by Marriott Exeter Sandy Park in The View.
You will play a key role in delivering outstanding guest experiences by preparing high-quality beverages, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring the bar operates efficiently and to Marriott brand standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and soft drinks to a high standard
Create classic and innovative cocktails with excellent presentation and consistency
Deliver exceptional customer service, engaging with guests and making personalised drink recommendations
Maintain a clean, organised, and fully stocked bar environment at all times
Ensure all transactions are processed accurately using the POS system
Monitor and replenish stock levels, supporting stock control and ordering processes
Verify customer identification and ensure responsible alcohol service in line with legal requirements
Stay up to date with current beverage trends and contribute ideas to enhance the bar offering
Comply with all company policies, health & safety, and food hygiene standards
Work collaboratively with the wider F&B team to ensure smooth and efficient service
**Skills & Experience**
Previous experience in a bar or hospitality environment preferred
Good knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and bar service standards
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for guest service
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
Positive attitude, flexibility, and reliability
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
