Job Title: Female Senior Night Care Assistant
Grade D £26,403 – 27,254 per year – Full time equivalent.

Bonsall View is a 7-bed unit that provides Short Break care for younger adults with complex learning disabilities, some of whom have Autism, profound and multiple disabilities or may display behaviours of concern.
We are looking for a Female Senior Night Care Assistant to provide support and ensure the safety of adults with learning disabilities during the night, some of whom have profound multiple disabilities or behaviours that challenge.
You may also be expected to work within any of the other DCC homes or services.
You will be responsible for overseeing the premises in the absence of a designated manager and be required to administer medication, for which full training will be given.
Experience of working with vulnerable people is essential. You will be responsible for providing intimate personal care to customers of the service and for maintaining their heath and safety.

The work will involve assisting and moving people for which you will receive training before you start work. You will also be required to attend other mandatory training courses as part of your induction programme and any future training as part of the role.
Knowledge of care planning, person centred working, Dignity in Care and a relevant NVQ/QCF qualification at level 2 or above in Health & Social Care is desirable. You will be expected to maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of customers individual support plans. Excellent training opportunities will be provided.
You must have a GCSE English grade C or above or equivalent qualification.
It is a rolling rota of two working shifts four off-hours of work are from to and you will be expected to work weekends and bank holidays when the rota falls on these days.
Due to the nature of the post and to meet CQC requirements you will need to be at least 18 years of age.
