Welton Primary School is a friendly and vibrant community. We are seeking talented, highly skilled and energetic individuals to join our team of exceptional support staff team as soon as possible.
A strong skill set is important but being a champion and advocate for real inclusion, high expectations and believing in the potential of all children is essential for this role. We are looking for people who want to make a difference to the most vulnerable children and enjoy working with young people who need the highest expectations to enable them to be independent and successful.
The successful candidate must:
1. be able to demonstrate the criteria in the job specification.
2. be committed to the role and its responsibilities.
3. demonstrate loyalty to the school and the pupils.
4. champion and celebrate the unique qualities of the most vulnerable pupils, especially on the challenging days.
5. be a role model as a learner, proactively seeking new skills and knowledge.
6. understand that successful support for children results in independent learning.
7. be able to adapt and produce high-quality resources for learning
8. be resilient to change and emotionally challenging situations
9. put the child at the centre of all their work.
10. be able to demonstrate a nurturing and restorative approach to maintaining very high standards of learning behaviours.
11. be available to work in the school’s summer camps for a minimum of 10 days.
