WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Working closely with the People & Culture team, you’ll support with the coordination, administration and maintenance of various processes and programmes.
The People & Culture team contributes and adds value to the business by attracting, recruiting and developing our People, and enabling a foundation for a great People experience based on our culture and values.
By providing an efficient and professional administrative support to the team, you’ll help to play a key role in the delivery of an exceptional, ‘people first’, service.
ROLE RESPONSIBILTILES:
1. Act as first-line response for basic queries via MS Teams, emails and our ticketing system, and escalating to other team members where needed
2. Provide generalist administrative support to the People & Culture Team relating to the employee lifecycle i.e., sending welcome emails, probation reminders, drafting (digital) letters for job changes, family leave entitlements, resignation acknowledgments, completing reference requests etc
3. Accurately administer changes in our HRIS (Workday) relating to the employee lifecycle i.e., setting up new starters, adding job changes, family leave dates, adding leaver details etc.
4. Maintaining personnel files (electronic and physical files) to ensure all key documentation is present and that they are held/stored in compliance with GDPR
5. Help to ensure the content is current, accurate and that accounts are disabled as required for our employee portal system
6. Support the People Development Specialist with learning & development administration including room set up, logistics and catering arrangements
7. Contribute to People & Culture weekly and quarterly reports
8. Provide administrative support for any project work and other initiatives of the team
9. Work closely with the payroll team to ensure that all changes affecting payroll are processed accurately and in time for monthly cut-offs
10. Support the administration of employee benefits (private medical insurance, life insurance, cycle scheme, etc.).
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
11. Confident user of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
12. Relevant experience and/or education in a similar field (desirable).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
SALARY
£24,000 - £26,000 (depending on experience).
HOURS
37.5 hours per week. We are open to discussing alternative hours or flexible working arrangements to accommodate your needs whenever possible.
LOCATION
Hybrid Working Pattern: This role follows a hybrid working model with three office-based days per week, Tuesday to Thursday at our Wallingford office in Oxfordshire. Monday and Friday are remote working days (from home).
Please note: Occasional travel within the UK may be required as part of the role.
