Job Title: Site Operations Manager (Head of Operations)
Location: Cavendish Road, Clare, Suffolk CO10 8PJ
Employment Type: Full time, 37 hours per week (52 weeks per year), core hours Monday‑Thursday 8:00‑16:00, Friday 8:00‑15:30, with flexibility for early/late shifts.
Contract: Permanent (required as soon as possible)
Salary: £34,434 - £36,363 per annum
Responsibilities
* Manage site staff to ensure effective day‑to‑day operation of services across both Stour Valley Community School and Clare Community Primary School.
* Ensure schools comply with statutory inspection and Health and Safety legislation.
* Oversee overall management of facilities, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standard to provide an outstanding learning and working environment for students and staff, and a first‑class resource for the community.
Qualifications & Skills
* Relevant practical skills and experience in school or educational operations.
* Strong communication and team‑working abilities.
* Proactive, reliable, and a team player with a willingness to support the school community.
* Good understanding of health and safety, inspection requirements and stakeholder engagement.
