Overview
Resource Manager (Learning Disabilities) role at NHS Ayrshire & Arran. The Adult Learning Disability service is looking to recruit a motivated and suitably qualified Resource Manager for the Housing and Outreach Support service based at Oransay Court, Portree on the Isle of Skye. The suitable candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities and/or autism, in people’s homes and in the community.
Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day delivery of high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities and/or autism in homes and community settings.
* Complete statutory paperwork such as Annual Returns, Variations and Notifications for The Care Inspectorate.
* Ensure staff are trained to an appropriate standard, meet registration requirements and follow SSSC Codes of Practice.
* Work within the multidisciplinary and multi-agency extended Community Learning Disability Team across the Highland Health and Social Care Partnership to deliver an integrated care service with an enhanced role for housing support and related community services.
* Create a safe and stimulating environment that promotes dignity, respect and the fulfilling of individuals’ potential, in line with Support and Personal Outcome Plans, Health & Social Care Standards and Keys to Life.
Qualifications
* Meet personal registration standards as required with The Care Inspectorate and SSSC (Registered Manager’s Award).
