12 Month Fixed Term Contract Croydon or Farringdon The role Southern Housingis seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager Projects on a fixed term contract for 12 months. In this pivotal role, you'll be entrusted with a designated portfolio of properties where you'll address historical matters, ensuring that every detail - from contractual compliance and financial integrity to the genuine concerns of homeowners - is meticulously managed. You won't just be overseeing properties, you'll also lead strategic project work to keep the team current with evolving legislation and best practices. This is a hybrid position working minimum 2 days per week from our Croydon or Farringdon offices and will also involve travel to our development schemes. What Youll need: Good understanding of leasehold block management ideally including mixed tenure blocks/estates. An understanding or experience of legal aspects of leasehold law and regulations, including sections 20 and ideally practical experience of preparing and representing cases at First Tier Tribunal and court. Member of the IRPM or RICS or willingness to achieve membership. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written is non-negotiable. Good negotiation skills with the ability to influence, persuade and resolve conflict. Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines and targets.
