Electrician/ Contract Manager
Our client focuses on commercial solar projects, ranging from small office solutions to large industrial-scale roof and ground-mounted solar installations. The role is primarily based in Belfast, with occasional travel across NI.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on 18th Edition Electrician who values practical work and is ready to take full control of projects. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, trusted by clients, respected by contractors, and capable of assisting with design, inspection, testing, and surveys.

Location: Belfast
The candidate should be trained as an 18th Edition Electrician, with contract management skills to work on commercial and residential projects as required.
You will report to the Operations Director and collaborate with the project team and subcontractors, ensuring all work complies with company policies and electrical standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Install solar PV electrical equipment per project specifications.
2. Perform electrical assembly and testing of solar systems and components.
3. Test and troubleshoot solar panel and electrical systems for proper operation.
4. Work with team members to complete installations safely and efficiently.
5. Follow safety guidelines and regulations during all installation activities.
6. Maintain detailed records of work and materials using the company's CRM system.
Requirements:
* Experience in solar PV installation.
* Test and Inspection Certification (training can be provided).
* Solar PV Level 3 qualification (training can be provided).
* Design, Installation, and Commissioning of Electrical Energy Storage Systems (training can be provided).
* Full clean Driving Licence.
* CSR certification and willingness to undertake working at heights training.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 plus a company car.
