Role responsibilities of the Procurement Team Leader include:
Managing supplier relationships through regular performance reviews, audits, and site visits
Overseeing inventory held by third-party suppliers
Conducting spend analysis and proactively collaborating with supply chain partners
Leading and managing the procurement team on a daily basis
Monitoring and controlling freight and shipping costs within the UK, EU, and beyond
Managing project-based purchasing activities
Driving process improvements aligned with business objectives
Overseeing stock levels of repeat order items via MRP systemsPerson Specification of the Procurement Team Leader:
Proven experience in procurement or purchasing within a fast paced environment
Demonstrated leadership skills managing a team in a fast-paced setting
Strong negotiation and influencing abilities
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems
Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
Ability to work calmly and professionally under pressureSalary: Up to £50,000
