Committed to innovation and sustainable practices, they cater to diverse clients across industries and are currently in search of a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their dynamic team.
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree (BSc or BEng) in Geology or Engineering, complemented by a postgraduate qualification in a related field (MEng, MSc, etc.)
Already obtained or actively working towards a chartered accreditation
Demonstrated success in design-focused Geotechnical roles
The successful candidate will take a lead role on projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to quality, budget and timeline objectives.
The role:
Conduct comprehensive geotechnical investigations, including site visits, soil and rock sampling, and laboratory testing
Analyse geotechnical data and prepare detailed reports, offering engineering recommendations and design solutions
Provide expert guidance on foundation design, slope stability, earth retention systems, and other geotechnical aspects of projects
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including structural engineers, environmental scientists, and construction professionals, to deliver cohesive solutions
Mentor and guide junior geotechnical engineers and technical staff
