The role
An established and growing main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their delivery team. The company has a proven track record of delivering high-quality schemes across a range of sectors, including retail, commercial, industrial, and residential.
You will initially lead the delivery of an extension and refurbishment to a retail store from inception through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Full lifecycle management of projects
- Programme planning, coordination, and on-site delivery
- Managing subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Maintaining strong client relationships and acting as the primary point of contact
- Overseeing health & safety compliance across all phases
About You
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry
- Strong background delivering a broad range of projects
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Commercial awareness and problem-solving capability
- Relevant construction qualifications including SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS card
