Our client is recruiting for a Stores and Logistic Technician at their site in Slough. The role involves working at the counter (front desk) servicing scientists collecting stock items, as well as organising stock within the warehouse. The position may suit someone who has freshly graduated with inventory/stock management experience or someone with stores and counter experience. Some items may require heavy lifting (between 5 and 20 kilos).
The successful candidate will be hands-on, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, be organised, able to prioritise a busy workload, and able to work as part of a small team. Computer literacy with SAP and Microsoft Office is required.
Responsibilities
* Serve customers at the counter and assist scientists with stock items.
* Organise and manage stock within the warehouse.
* Handle items that require heavy lifting (5–20 kg).
Qualifications
* Fresh graduates with inventory/stock management experience or administrative exposure from summer roles, or.
* Stores and counter experience.
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
* Organised with the ability to prioritise a busy workload and work as part of a small team.
* Computer literate with SAP and Microsoft Office.
