Overview
Maintenance Engineer opportunity in a leading manufacturing organisation located in the UK and internationally. The company invests in progress and development, with a good working environment and support for all staff.
Responsibilities
* Carry out preventative maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment (hydraulics, pneumatics, ovens, conveyors, gearboxes)
* Carry out repairs under pressure and facilitate repairs as required
* General machining and welding (MIG & TIG) as needed
* Support building maintenance tasks as required
* Work flexibly within a team and independently; IT literate (Office, Gradus CMMS)
* Travel to alternative sites when required
Qualifications
* Experience in a Manufacturing / FMCG environment
* Experience with hydraulics & pneumatics; ovens, conveyors, gearboxes
* General machining; welding MIG & TIG
* Basic electrical abilities (rewiring) advantageous
* Experience with preventative maintenance and ability to facilitate repairs
* HNC in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent); apprentice-trained
* Full UK driving licence
* IT literate; MS Office; Gradus CMMS
Details
* Shift: Double Days 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, Monday to Friday
* Location: Commutable from Crewe, Stoke-on-Trent, Winsford, Chester
* Salary: £43,081.57 with 10% pension contribution; 25+8 days holiday; holiday buy back; cycle to work; overtime rates TH & DT
* Travel to other sites as needed
