We are recruiting for seasonal Warehouse Operatives to join our friendly team at our site in Long Marston, York, YO26 7NH. Due to the location own transport is essential, public transport is not an option due to a timetable conflict with shift start and end times.

Rate of pay - £12.97 per hour + overtime

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our friendly team to help sort, pick, pack, and dispatch parcels for a variety of our clients.
* Pick and check client orders in a professional and accurate manner within pre-agreed Service Level Agreements
* Assist with the packing of client orders as instructed by the warehouse production team leaders
* Check and pack client orders in a professional and accurate manner within pre-agreed Service Level Agreements
* Assist with the picking of client order as instructed by the warehouse production team leaders
* Process client returns accurately and efficiently as per client instructions within pre-agreed Service Level Agreements
* To ensure the safe handling and custody of client stock, reporting any damaged stock to the warehouse production team leaders
* Accurately complete all despatch documentation, where required
* To report discrepancies in stock levels to the warehouse production team leaders
* Practice and maintain good housekeeping in the warehouse
* To perform to agreed productivity levels as set by the organisation
* To follow basic health and safety within the warehouse environment
* To carry out other duties as instructed by the Warehouse Manager
Skills and Experience
* Highly accurate with great attention to detail
* Collaborative team-worker
* Good communication skills
* Able to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment
* Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems (desirable)
