Electrical Team Leader – North Yorkshire
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Team Leader to join a leading manufacturer of advanced systems, based in North Yorkshire.
The Role
You’ll support the Electronics Lab Supervisor in managing a team of electrical technicians, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency are maintained. Acting as deputy in the supervisor’s absence, you’ll prioritise workloads, oversee testing and assembly of electrical / electronic components, and help drive departmental performance to meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, prioritise, and delegate work across the electrical team
* Support project delivery and ensure quality and safety standards are met
* Maintain workflow through the department and monitor efficiency
* Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth production flow
About You
* ONC (or equivalent) in Electronic & Electrical Engineering
* Strong knowledge of low / high voltage systems, control / data systems, and fibre optic handling
* Confident interpreting drawings and technical documentation
* Skilled in MS Office and MRP / stock management systems
* Organised, proactive, and able to lead by example
