Reed is hiring Recruitment Consultants to join our established teams across the Thames Valley, with office‑based opportunities in Oxford and Reading. While the roles recruit for different specialist markets, both roles offer warm desks, strong client relationships and genuine long‑term career progression.

* We’re recruiting for the same role across two nearby offices:
* Salary for both roles: Up to £34,00 plus uncapped bonus
* Hybrid working available after induction period
📍 Oxford Office – OX2 0JJ
Specialism: Transactional Finance (temps, FTC & interim roles)
Office‑based in Oxford with regular client visits across Oxfordshire (Driving required)
📍 Reading Office - RG1 2LG
Specialism: Business Support
Office‑based in Reading with client visits across Bracknell, Wokingham & Maidenhead (Driving Required)
About the role
As a Recruitment Consultant, you’ll take ownership of a specialist desk, partnering with local businesses and professionals to deliver high‑quality recruitment solutions.
You’ll be supported by experienced managers, established client relationships and Reed’s industry‑leading training, whether you’re new to recruitment or already have experience.
What you’ll be doing
* Working from your home office (Oxford or Reading) as your main base
* Building strong, long‑term relationships with clients and candidates
* Visiting clients regularly to understand hiring needs and provide tailored solutions
* Sourcing, engaging and managing candidates through the full recruitment lifecycle
* Developing your desk through proactive business development
* Working towards clear, achievable KPIs while building a sustainable pipeline
What you’ll bring

* A confident communicator who enjoys relationship‑building
* Motivated, resilient and commercially minded
* Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities
* Ambitious and keen to develop a long‑term career in recruitment
Essential:
* A full UK driving licence (both roles involve regular client visits)
* Previous recruitment or B2B sales experience is welcomed but not essential; attitude, potential and motivation matter most.
